Spelling Word Program
We are going into week seven in MFW. Shhh.. my blog is a little behind ;) What was really bothering me is that there isn't a formal spelling lists with every week spelled out. Bah dum bump! OK, I have a cheesy sense of humor. With transitioning Monkey from Public School he is used to it, plus I want him to be a good speller. Practice makes perfect..right? I was doing some research and came across this really awesome site www.k12reader.com. They Have a full 36 week spelling program for not only First Grade, but all the way to Fifth Grade. Each week comes with five pages of activities. They also have a 36 week reading comprehension program that goes hand in hand with the spelling program. This is a simple. One page with half the page being a mini story and the other half questions. You guys, it's FREE!! I couldn't keep this secret in much longer.
